Summer Camps 2009
 
1) Summer Stik Skillz. Introductory lacrosse program for players with little or no experience going into grades 1-8 this fall. Sign up on sportspilot.com. $95.
 
2) All Star Lacrosse is June 7-10 at University of Dallas. Day Camp cost $395. Register through starlacrosse.com
 
3) Powell Bros. is now Rhino Lacrosse. June 8-11 from 9-4 at Carpenter Park in Plano. Cost is $450. Resgister through rhinolacrosse.com
 
4) Episcopal School of Dallas is June 11-14 at 4100 Merrell Road, Dallas. Girls, grades 5-8, 8:30-10:30 a.m., $100; Girls, grades 9-12, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., $140. Register through esdallas.org.
 
5) Dueces Lacrosse Camp is June 15-18 at Jesuit. Boys grades 3-8 are 9-1pm. 6oys grads 9-12 are 4-8pm. Cost is $375. Register through Deuceslax.com
 
6) Jesuit Lacrosse Camp is June 26-29 at 12345 Inwood Road, Dallas.  Boys grades 3-8, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost is $275. Register jesuit.org/athletics/lacrosse
 

7) Big D Lacrosse camp is July 16-20 at Hockaday. Grade 3-8. Day Camp cost $375. Regsiter through bigdlacrossecamps.com.

 

Private Instruction

For private instruction, here are 2 great options.  They both offer great skill development, but one is for 6-12 guys at a time and the other is for a group of 4 players:

1) Russ Bolling (3-time All-American Attackman at Army and former Head Varsity Coach at Coppell) is offering intermediate training for 6-12 players.  The focus is to train and then scrimmage, employing skill training with coaching. The sessions will be held in Coppell and cost $95/player for 6 sessions.

2) Anthony Crimmins and Sam Ashley (StickStar Lacrosse) are offering private lessons for $40 per hour per player. The groups are limited to 4 players per lesson.
