Boys Grade 5-6 Overview

The 5/6 Boys program fields two teams in the spring:

•          the RED team is coached by Kyle Korman, comprised of boys with previous lacrosse experience and plays at the Championship level;

•          the BLACK team is coached by Lars Londot , comprised of players with less experience and plays at the Competitive level.

5/6 Boys fields a single team in the fall, due to the fact that many of our players are multi-sport athletes.  In the fall, the team practices usually only once a week and will play in 1-3 tournaments.

Spring is the big lacrosse season.  The 5/6 boys teams will begin play in February and play 14-18 games through April or early May.

Summer is an opportunity to attend Stick Skills and play in summer leagues.

The Program Director for the 5/6 program is Angela Thurman.  She can be reached at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Boys Grade 7-8 Overview

While spring is the  primary season for lacrosse league play, preparation for a successful spring season actually begins in the fall.  We will field two teams, our Red Championship Team, coached by Randy Michaelis, and our Black Competitive Team, coached by Lars Londot.

With many of our athletes playing football in the Fall, the coaches keep practices to a minimum (one day per week throughout football season), but we have established a tradition of competing in a couple of tournaments each Fall.  With the Spring season kicking off in January, it makes a lot of sense to keep the boys working on stick skills throughout the Fall.  And, it's a lot of fun for the boys as the weather starts to cool off.
